Welcome! I am an assistant professor in quantitative methods for agricultural economics at the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Resource Economics, the University of Guelph. My research interests include food and agricultural economics, health economics, and public economics. My most recent work examines: (1) the impacts of digital technologies on consumer behaviors and retailer outcomes, (2) the long-run effects of food policies on consumers, and (3) how the producers and retailers respond to climate change.
I hold a Ph.D. in agricultural and resource economics from University of California, Davis, a M.Sc. in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Tokyo, and a B.Mgmt in financial management from Sun Yat-sen University.
