Welcome! I am an agricultural economist and assistant professor in quantitative methods for agricultural economics at the Department of Food, Agricultural, and Resource Economics, the University of Guelph.

My research interests include food and agricultural economics, health economics, and environmental economics. My work uses causal and data science approaches to examine how retailers and consumers respond to technology, policy, and climate shocks. My current projects focus on three areas: (1) the impacts of digital technologies on consumer behaviors and retailer outcomes, (2) the long-run effects of food policies on consumers, and (3) how the producers and retailers respond to climate change.

I hold a Ph.D. in agricultural and resource economics from University of California, Davisa M.Sc. in agricultural and resource economics from the University of Tokyo, and  a B.Mgmt in financial management from Sun Yat-sen University.
